Tomkat, Nicole Ritchie, and Art

I'm a huge art fan. I studied art history at NYU, not because I wanted to work in the field...but because I just love it. So I was excited to cover the opening celebration of the Broad Contemporary Art Museum at LACMA tonight. But I didn't get to ask any art questions. I had to ask questions about Valentine's Day and general questions about why they were there to support the museum and if they have an art collection. Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Nicole Ritchie, Joel Madden, Tony Bennett, David Byrne, Michael York, Eli Broad, Petra Nemcova, Angelica Huston, Mayor Villaraigosa, Garry Marshall, Maria Shriver, james Spader, Dustin Hoffman, Dennis Hopper, and Lauren Hutton were all there. Nobody huge talked. I was dressed up!! Anthony has some pics, and if I can get it from him, I'll upload. :)

oliver ifergan atelier salon

I got the most luxurious wash and blow dry tonight! And it was for free!! My lovely publicist friend, Elissa, invited me to the very hip Oliver Ifergan Atelier salon for his grand opening celebration, and they were offering free blowouts, food, champagne, martinis in a lovely setting. When I walked in, Oliver introduced himself, while he was working on a model's hair. He told me he loved my red lipstick. Then, a girl named Shay (pronounced Shy) gave me a great blowout. I should've taken a picture when it was done...because it's all flat now since I just took a shower. Shay was born in Israel, moved to San Antonio, TX when she was four! And now, she lives here. We joked that we've had parallel lives since I was born in Taiwan, moved to Arlington, TX when I was 3 1/2, and I now live here. Her parents are here in Southern California too.
